Greetings!
Fountain of Restoration has been a dream before the name was even formed. The purpose of Fountain of Restoration is to provide a safe-haven for young ladies in need. Currently, we are gearing up for our second annual Life Skills program for girls ages 11-18. The four (4) corners of our Life Skills program are: Self-Esteem, Decision Making, Goal-Setting and Relationship Building.
We know that if girls find their Self-Esteem/Self-Worth, they will learn the importance of sound Decision Making. Once they learn the steps to making sound decisions, they will become better at Goal-Setting & completing goals. In order to complete some of our goals in life, we need to rely on our relationships, so we also focus on the importance of Relationship Building.
These are issues that affect girls of all ages, races and backgrounds and we know it is best to begin teaching Life Skills before they become women! Our board of directors is working feverishly brainstorming, planning, developing, and implementing events, programs, and partnerships that will help us reach our goals. Our first major goal was completed as planned a 6-month Life Skills program. We have partnered with several qualified partner organizations and individuals that have assisted us in reaching our goal and helping to shape the future. Providing a physical “safe-haven” for our young ladies is our dream goal!
We envision a home that will invite those who need to be restored. We plan to provide: assessment, coaching, mentoring, tutoring, therapeutic crisis intervention, career development, etc. Until we attain our home, we plan to guide and mentor young ladies to strengthen the bond with them and their families. In order for us to reach our goals, we need your help. We are in need of financial support, community resources, partnerships, and the investment of time and service.
